-Masthead:
The
Masthead ‘Billboard’ has been written in a bold and simple font and is in the
colour black, this is linking to the black and grey colour scheme of the whole
cover, in some of the gaps of the letters are coloured blue and yellow this
being used in every Billboard magazine. Although this time the whole mast head
isn’t visible due to it being covered by the main image, it shows how this is a
easily recognised magazine by the person buying it.
-Colour
Scheme:
The
use of the black, grey and white makes the front cover look more professional,
this is ironic as the main model image ‘Lady GAGA’ has a unique style therefore
by using the dull colour scheme is in contrast. However, her light purple hair
has been used around the magazine to link directly to the main image.
-Target
Audience: The target audience for this magazine
Is
mainly directed at probably music fans as it includes
Stories
that the audience are probably interested in, one magazine includes ‘How she
writes pop hits’
Main Image:
The main image is of the music
icon ‘lady gaga’ Who is known for her different styles of music, here she is
wearing black clothing looking like she is trying to match the magazine, then
she has a pop of colour which is her hair which is very eye catching. Then her
hand is wearing some eye catching unusual jewellery which with the hair brings
out her uniqueness. Her lack of clothing this could relate to the sell line
which says ‘why doesn’t she wear pants’ However; this could be simply to draw
in the reader.
The
sell line:
The
sell line 'Lady Gaga' is in large bold writing with the colour being black
matching with the colour scheme and its
the same as the 'billboard' illustrating its as important as the magazine
title. It's also next to the models light purple hair, making her stand out
even more, therefore the audience know its lady gaga.
